Expert: German Companies' Investments in Russia Will Amount to € 530 Million in the Next 1.5 Years

OREANDA-NEWS. German companies will invest € 530 million in their production in Russia in the next year and a half, Denis Manturov, head of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, told reporters.
"Colleagues, investing in their production, develop them. Only according to statements already confirmed by German companies in the next year and a half, the amount of investment - out of 112 companies surveyed - will be about € 530 million. And this is only a small part of those companies surveyed that are on the perimeter of the East German Economy Committee", the minister said.
At the same time, he clarified that now in Russia there are more than 4.5 thousand German companies. The investment intensity over the past four years has grown 1.5 times, exceeding $ 20 billion. "This suggests that our economy, our country is interesting for German business", Manturov said.
