OREANDA-NEWS  Kiwi Bank temporarily and partially restricted the withdrawal of funds from wallets to bank accounts and cash withdrawals due to the Central Bank's claims to reporting, the organization said in a press release.

"Guided by the general logic of the regulation, we temporarily and partially limited the withdrawal of funds by individuals from wallets to bank accounts and cash withdrawals," the bank said.

It is emphasized that the Central Bank issued an order to the financial organization in respect of certain operations. The document comes into force on July 26, now the bank is clarifying the details of the regulation with the regulator in order to eliminate the shortcomings that Kiwi Bank called "typical for large organizations of its level."

Despite this, replenishment of mobile operators' accounts, transfer of money to other (except Qiwi) wallets, payment for services, games and goods with Qiwi wallets and cards work as usual. Contact money transfers, trade acquiring and payments to third-party accounts and cards from legal entities are also not subject to restrictions, the financial organization clarified.

They also expressed hope for the elimination of shortcomings and the lifting of restrictions as soon as possible.
