The government will allocate almost two billion rubles for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic

OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will allocate more than 1.8 billion rubles for the social development of economic growth centers in the Far East and the Arctic.
"The government is consistently taking measures to strengthen this important macroregion, including through the relevant state program and federal projects. We will send an additional 1.5 billion rubles. The funds will be used for measures for the social development of economic growth centers in the Far Eastern regions," Mishustin said at a meeting of the government of the Russian Federation.
The Prime Minister added that funding for the social development of the Arctic regions, in particular for the Komi Republic, had been increased by almost 300 million rubles.
