On this day, the players will return to their clubs for testing and training. No hockey player can be admitted to the team without a negative test for COVID-19, according to a statement published on the official website of the league.

The statement notes that since no games are scheduled for December 22 due to postponement, the NHL and the NHL Players Association (NHLPA) have decided to postpone five matches scheduled for the 23rd. According to the revised schedule, from December 22 to December 25 inclusive — days off for all purposes, including travel. The championship will resume on December 27.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian forward of St. Louis Blues Vladimir Tarasenko was recognized as the second star of the week in the National Hockey League (NHL).
