OREANDA-NEWS. The Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported that at least ten bronze sculptures by Salvador Dali were stolen from a gallery located in the centre of Stockholm.

According to Couderur gallery owner Peder Enstrom, at night, intruders entered the building, where the exhibition was held, and stole ten or twelve works of the famous artist. The sculptures are estimated at 200–500 thousand Swedish kronas (20–50 thousand euros) each. “The total cost of the stolen works is about 3–4 million kronas (approximately 300–400 thousand euros),” Enstrom said.

The police began an investigation. The officers suggest that at least two criminals were involved in the theft, and they fled the gallery in a car. Other details of an incident have not been revealed yet.
