OREANDA-NEWS  Ukraine received from Russia the bodies of 42 dead servicemen. The Ministry of Reintegration of the Republic informs about the exchange in the Telegram channel.

"The exchange work does not stop every day. Despite the fact that the negotiation process is complicated and lengthy, we try to speed it up (...) We will return everyone," said Oleg Kotenko, the Commissioner for Missing Persons.

It is clarified that since the appointment of Kotenko, Ukraine has been able to return the bodies of 869 dead soldiers.

Earlier, Ksenia Makarova, head of the department of examination of corpses of the Lugansk Republican Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination, said that traces of torture were found on the bodies of fighters of the People's Militia of the Luhansk People's Republic returned by Ukraine. She noted that the prisoners of war were not provided with primary medical care, because otherwise they could have survived.

On November 11, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, said that during the next prisoner exchange, Kiev returned 45 servicemen and the bodies of two more soldiers.
