OREANDA-NEWS. On April 30, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on reports of some Czech media saying that Russian diplomats wanted to poison the head of the municipality of the Prague 6 District of the Czech capital, Ondrej Kolar.

According to the head of Russian diplomacy, such statements are contrary to common sense. Lavrov called inconceivable allegations that a person, with whom poisonous substances were found in an airport, was allowed to enter the Czech Republic. “They found a deadly tool and allowed him to enter their country? Who, being in a right mind, would agree with this and believe in all these fabrications?” the Minister said at a press conference. Lavrov emphasized that “there was no employee of the Embassy in this story” and none of the Russian diplomats arrived in Prague.
