OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Beijing by car after completing his work program in Tianjin, China, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian leader, said.

"You can fly or take the train. We decided by car," Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the Chinese side had offered several options for Putin to move from Tianjin to Beijing. In 2018, Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Tianjin on the high-speed train "Hesei".

Putin is in China on a four-day visit. Events within the framework of the SCO summit ended in Tianjin on Monday. The head of state also had contacts with foreign leaders.

A trilateral meeting with the leaders of Mongolia and China is planned in Beijing, Putin will also hold talks with Xi Jinping, as well as a number of bilateral talks with foreign leaders.
