OREANDA-NEWS  The case of "Media without water" by Rambler &Co media holding won two awards in the categories "Socially responsible Media" and "Responsible consumption and Production. Reducing the environmental impact". The children's football festival "Championship" became the winner of the program "The best social projects of Russia" in the category "Socially responsible media".

As part of the Russian Creative Week 2022, the creative team of the holding established its welcome zone in front of the entrance to the event. In the 30-degree heat, the promoters distributed branded water bottles for free to the participants of the event and guests of Gorky Park, on which there was an inscription: "There is no water in Rambler &Co media, it's all here."

Below, in small print, there was a deliberately "water" text about "life-giving fluid and its role in vital activity." A QR code was also placed on the label with a link to the Telegram channel of the media holding, whose audience growth thanks to the promotion amounted to 238.3 percent. The Visual Communications Department (VisCom) of the Rambler &Co media holding was responsible for the design of the rack and bottles.

The partner of the Rambler&Co promotion was the "Collector". A representative of the organization was present at the creative zone of the media holding every day, who talked about the separate collection of recyclables — why it is important and how to organize it correctly. Next to the counter was a container for collecting bottles with the inscription "Spam here". The branded clothing of the promotional staff was also made of recycled polyester — for example, one baseball cap is made of one and a half plastic bottles. During the whole event, more than 20 kilograms of PET bottles, 2.2 kilograms of packaging corrugated cardboard and about a kilogram of polyethylene film were collected and carefully transferred for recycling.
