OREANDA-NEWS  About 30% of Russia's scientific instrument base was updated in 2022. A third of the purchased equipment is of domestic production. This information was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Currently, a program is being implemented in the Russian Federation to develop the instrument base of domestic science. The main condition is the purchase of advanced Russian-made equipment. The new equipment will allow Russian scientists to perform advanced research and obtain scientific results. This will contribute to the scientific and technological development of Russia.

At a briefing at the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, Chernyshenko told what was done under this program for 2022: "273 organizations have purchased almost 7 thousand devices, of which a third, which is very important, is of domestic production. Over the past year, we have updated more than a quarter of the country's instrument base." In the coming year, about 200 Russian scientific organizations will receive grants totaling 15.5 billion rubles for updating the instrument base - this is 3.7 billion more than in 2022, Chernyshenko said earlier.

In 2021, the volume of financing for the purchase of new devices amounted to 8 billion rubles, in 2022 - 11.8 billion rubles. Scientific organizations receive subsidies from the federal budget for updating the instrument base within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities".
