OREANDA-NEWS  The promising Korona rocket will receive a payload bay (PN) in the center. This will make it possible to repair and refuel objects in orbit. This was told in the state corporation "Roscosmos".

It is noted that special equipment in the PN compartment of the rocket will allow repairing objects in orbit. The set of equipment will depend on the flight task.

"This development provides for the central location of the PN compartment in a fully reusable launch vehicle, therefore, combining the payload, it is possible to solve one or another task: to remove the PN, pick up objects, carry out repairs or refueling in orbit," the message says. In February, it became known that the Mozhaisk Military Space Academy had patented a reusable two-stage space rocket. The first stage of the rocket will be reusable.

In the same month, Vladimir Degtyar, General Director of the Makeyev State Rocket Center (SRC), said that in 2023 Russia will begin the creation of the Korona space rocket.
