Turkey Announced a Slowdown in the Increase in the Incidence of COVID-19

OREANDA-NEWS COVID-19 cases in Turkey are declining. This information was reported by the head of the Ministry of Health of the republic, Fahrettin Koca. Last week, Turkey registered the maximum disease rate.
The number of cases of the disease is decreasing amid restrictive measures.
The day before, the number of deaths of patients with COVID in Turkey per day was 341 - this is a new maximum since the beginning of the pandemic: the daily increase in cases exceeded 55 thousand. On Friday, the daily increase in incidence showed the maximum since the beginning of the pandemic, amounting to 63,082 cases.
Russia, due to the difficult epidemiological situation in Turkey, has limited air traffic with this country from April 15 to June 1.
At the end of March, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that due to the increase in the number of infections in 58 of 81 Turkish provinces, including Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Mugle, a curfew is reintroduced on weekends - from Friday 9 pm to Monday 5 am. In addition, during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, from April 13 to May 12, cafes and restaurants throughout the country are open only for delivery and take-away.
Later, Erdogan announced the tightening of restrictive measures, in particular, the restriction of long-distance traffic and an increase in the duration of the daily curfew - now it lasts from 19.00 to 5.00.
