The most common foreign cars in Russia are Japanese

OREANDA-NEWS. The experts of the agency «AUTOSTAT» came to this conclusion as a result of the research of the Russian parc as of July 1st, 2017. According to the results of the study, in the middle of this year in Russia there were more than 25 million foreign cars.
The largest share (37%) of this number is occupied by Japanese brands - more than 9.4 million units of such cars. In the second place there are cars of Korean brands, the parc of which was about 4.3 million units (share - 17%). A little lower this figure is at German brands - 4.2 million cars or every sixth foreign car.
Let's also note that every eighth foreign car in the country is American (3.1 million units), and every twelfth - French one (2.1 million units).
