OREANDA-NEWS. The company Volvo Car Russia plans to increase the share of the program Volvo Selekt in the total sales of cars of the Swedish brand in Russia in 2017. To date, the target is 13% to the sales of new cars. Anton Svekolnikov, the head of the corporate communications and events department at Volvo Car Russia, informed the agency «AUTOSTAT» by noting that Volvo Car Russia considers the Volvo Selekt program as one of the promising directions of development, especially taking into account the current market situation, and constantly increases the number of dealers, certified by the program Volvo Selekt.

By the end of 2016, as the absolute number of sold cars in Russia under the Selekt program, so the percentage of certified cars with mileage grew in compare with the new Volvo cars. This figure was 8.7% compared to 6% in 2015. In total for 2016 through the official dealer network Volvo under the program Selekt it was sold 502 cars - more by 9,4%, than a year before (459 cars).
