OREANDA-NEWS. Power management company Eaton today announced an expansion of the company's FF and FF connect under pressure (CUP) Series quick disconnect couplings product line. The couplings, which help maximize ease of use and system uptime in equipment used in the oil and gas, agriculture, construction, mining and food and beverage industries, are now available in all hose sizes up to two inches.

Eaton's FD85 Thread to Connect Coupling Series has also been updated, with all connection sizes now carrying Lloyd's Registry Certificate for oil and gas applications as a standard offering. The independent certification provides assurance that the couplings will perform to industry standards, which helps to reduce costly downtime due to equipment malfunction or failure.

"This expansion of Eaton's coupling product lines will provide our customers with the reliable products they count on in a wider variety of sizes," said Canan Myers, product manager, Metal Products, Eaton. "Our patented quick disconnect couplings allow for fast assembly and disassembly with a push-to-connect design and double shut-off flat face valves."

The FF Series quick disconnect coupling is now available in ? inch (in.) to 2 in. sizes. The FFCUP Series couplings are now available in 3/8 in. and ? in. sizes. The new FFCUP Series plugs also interchange with International Standards Organization (ISO) 16028 couplings, including Eaton's FF and MLFF Series products.
