OREANDA-NEWS. On July 10, 2007 Atom Innovation Center and Russian-Federal Nuclear Center-All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF, Sarov) have signed a three-year agreement for cooperation in the spheres of science and innovations with a view to jointly promote VNIIEF’s civil high-tech technologies on Russian and foreign markets and to develop Techno-park, reported the press-centre of AtomInform.

The sides have agreed to provide necessary scientific-technical information, to attract investments, to carry out a joint venture policy, to offer marketing services, to work out research and development projects and to tailor them to the needs of the market.

In order to attain the above goals, the sides will work out mechanisms for reducing risks, guaranteeing the return of investments and ensuring transparency of economic relations.

The agreement is expected to create favorable conditions for the transfer of high-technologies from the nuclear power industry to other sectors. VNIIEF’s projects help consumers from other industries to substantially improve the economy and quality of their activities. The institute designs sophisticated technological systems, special automatic equipment, produces new materials, conducts ecological monitoring, etc.. The sides will actively work on the projects to bring them into conformity with the standards of venture investment, particularly, with the requirements of the new Rosatom venture fund.

The sides are already working on some innovative projects. Atom Innovation is planning to sign similar agreements with other research institutes.
