OREANDA-NEWS. September 3, 2007.  Atomenergoproject (Nizhniy Novgorod) and Energoproject (Kharkiv) have signed a protocol of intention to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in designing of nuclear power plants

The managers of Atomenergoprojet (Nizhniy Novgorod) and Energoproject (Kharkiv) have signed a protocol of intention to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in designing of nuclear power plants

During the talks they considered a draft program of long-term cooperation envisaging joint activities in designing nuclear power plants, exchange of experience in managing projects and cooperation in developing design technologies, particularly, 3D automated design systems.

The sides have also agreed to cooperate on the construction of unit 4 of Kalinin NPP (Udomlia, Tver region). To remind, on July 23 2007 Atomenergoproject and Rosatom concluded a state contract for the construction of unit 4 of Kalinin NPP – a 48bln RUR project to be launched on Dec 1 2011.
