OREANDA-NEWS. Over the first eight months of 2007, St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill, Ilim Group, produced 166.6 thousand tonnes of cartonboard, including 143.6 thousand tonnes of market cartonboard, 11.8 thousand tonnes (8.9%) up as compared to the same period of 2006. According to the corporation's press-service, the output included the following amounts of cartonboard:

Uncoated board - 19.4 thousand tonnes, 1.5 thousand tonnes (8.3%) up year-over-year;  Coated board - 32.5 thousand tonnes, 1.5 thousand tonnes (4.8%) up year-over-year;  Linerboard - 89.5 thousand tonnes, 13.2 thousand tonnes (17.3%) up year-over-year;
Testliner output - 1.9 thousand tonnes, 0.4 thousand tonnes (26.6%) up as compared to January-August last year;
Match box board amounted to 0.3 thousand tonnes, 4.8 thousand tonnes (94%) down year-over-year.

Some changes in various production types are due to revision in the sales plans of the company's distributor Petroboard Trading and Knauf Group companies. Over the period, output of printed product went down 3.2 thousand tonnes (17.9%) as compared to the same period of 2006, totaling 14.6 thousand tonnes. The production plan was realigned with the current market situation.

During the first eight months of 2007, the output of disposable plates amounted to 51.7 million pcs, 1.2% up as compared to January-August 2006.
