OREANDA-NEWS. On October 26, 2007 OAO AK Transneft (“Transneft”) has published the consolidated interim financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2007 in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), reported the press-centre of Transneft.

There have been no significant changes in the results of operating activity for the six months ended 30 June 2007 as compared to the results of the six months ended 30 June 2006.

Transneft transported 230,5 million metric tons of crude oil to domestic and export markets for six months ended 30 June 2006, which represents a major part of the crude oil produced in the Russian Federation for that period. The volume of crude oil transportation increased 3,4 million tons, or 1.5 per cent. for six months ended 30 June 2007, as compared to the six months ended 30 June 2006.

Sales increased RUR 8,170 million, or 8,1 per cent for the six months ended 30 June 2007, as compared to the six months ended 30 June 2006. Such increase was mainly due to increase in revenues from oil transportation services. Revenues from oil transportation services increased RUR 6,876 million, or 7,5 per cent, as compared to the six months ended 30 June 2006 due principally to tariff growth and growth of volume of oil transported.
