OREANDA-NEWS. On November 09, 2007 annual festival of classic music "Concerts in the Motherland" was held in Almaty. "Alem Art" social fund and "Bank TuranAlem" JSC arrange the art event, reported the press-centre of Bank TuranAlem.

"Concerts in the Motherland had a tremendous success in Kazakhstan in 2005 and 2006. The concert stages of Almaty and Astana hosted such notable performers as Fuat Mansurov (band master, Russia), Elena Kelessidi (vocal, Greece), Almas Serkebayev (composer, U.S.), Temirzhan Yerzhanov (piano, U.S.), Marat Bisengaliyev (violin, UK), Erik Kurmangaliyev (vocal, Russia), Serzhan Kaukov (leading ballet dancer, Russia), Vladimir Afanasyev (percussion, Greece), Saule Rakhmetova (ballerina), Mayra Mukhammed Kyzy (vocal, France).

This year, new stars of the classical stage supported "Concerts in the Motherland". Thus, Kazakh judges of art will have a unique opportunity to delight in performances of a pleiad of young performers, our nationals who fame Kazakhstan abroad.

Alena Bayeva (violin, Russia), ballerina of Vienna State Aliya Tanykbayeva (ballerina, Austria) and Gulnara Mashurova (harp, U.S.) with Kazakhstan’s debut stand out among other participants of the event.

Other participants of the festival are Amir Tebenikhin (piano, Germany), Meruert Tuyakbayeva (violin, Germany), Kairzhan Zholdybayev (vocal, Germany), Alexander Taraskin (flute, Switzerland), Eldar Saparayev (violoncello, Switzerland), Ruslan Savdenov and Alexandra Surodeyeva (leading ballet dancers, Russia), Almaz Tokpanov (clarinet, Germany), Adil Bestybayev (composer, Canada), Temirzhan Yerzhanov (piano, U.S.), Kazbek Akhmedyarov and Malika Akhmedyarova (leading ballet dancers, Germany), Nurzhan Baybusinov (band master, Russia/Kazakhstan).
