OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2007. OMZ-Oil and Gas Projects (Izhorskiye Zavody), a part of OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) (RTS: OMZZ; LSE: OMZD; OTC: UHMVY), announced that it had won a tender and concluded an agreement with TANEKO OJSC for the production of 43 spherical gas holders with 600 and 2,000 cubic meters capacities for the storage of propane, propylene, crude and coking naphtha, and also for С5 fraction.

The equipment is scheduled to be manufactured and supplied to the customer in 2008. Plans are for 23 spherical gas holders to be assembled and placed into operation in spring 2009. The remaining 20 units are to be assembled and put into operation by the end of 2009.

The value of the contract, which is due for completion this year, is around RUR1.3 billion.
