OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2007. Since October, approximately 6,500 metric tons of flour has been sent to Uzbekistan by PAVA, with another 2,000 metric tons to be delivered in the last two weeks of the year, the company's press service reported. This makes over 8,000 metric tons in three months.

Pava, the biggest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, entered the Uzbek market in autumn 2007. Flour deliveries to the country began in the first half of October, the Russian trade mission in Uzbekistan reported. At present, Pava’s products are being dispatched to all regions of Uzbekistan.

Pava is one of Russia’s top five flour producers. It accounts for about 3% of Russia’s flour output and processes over 10% of wheat from the entire Altai territory.
