OREANDA-NEWS.  As of December 29, 2007, common registered shares of JSC Acron with a par value of RUB 5 are included in the B Quotation List of the Russian Trading System, the press service of Acron reported. Acron Senior Vice President Alexander Popov stated: “The RTS listing is one more step in our strategy of enhancing JSC Acron’s capitalization. Being quoted on the RTS and MICEX (listing) will allow us to increase the Company’s liquidity and bring new investors to the mix. That is important for institutional investors, especially from the West, who are extremely demanding of the companies they invest in. In addition, being able to meet the requirements of quotation lists is a sign of quality for our securities.

"Our strategy for enhancing capitalization also includes plans for an IPO by means of placing global depositary receipts at the London Stock Exchange. Being listing on the Russian Stock Exchange is a condition for the implementation of the global depositary receipt (GDR) issue programme. All in all, about 100 companies have obtained listings on the RTS. We are among them now. We also plan to be listed on MICEX in the near future; all required documents have already been submitted,” the company's authorities say.
