OREANDA-NEWS. On January 24, 2008 Azerbaijan Investment Seminar was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event was organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) (Azerbaijan), Center for Entrepreneurship Development (Slovenia) and Young Executive Organization (Slovenia) with support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Austria.

President of AZPROMO Mr. Emil Majidov talked about investment climate in Azerbaijan. Also, representatives of AZPROMO and Mr. Vugar Imamaliyev from the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria made presentations on IT and Contruction in Azerbaijan.

Around 90 representatives of construction, pharmaceutics, IT, agriculture and other sectors of Slovenia took part in the event.
Azerbaijan delegation had a number of fruitful meetings with Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia and Slovenian Export and Investment Agency.
