OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2008. Production corporation Gomselmash will take part in the traditional agricultural exhibition EXPOAGRO 2008 which will be held in the Argentinean province of Santa-Fe on March 5-8. Belarusian producers of agricultural machinery will display its latest fodder choppers KBK-800E.

Specialists of the Gomselmash branch in Argentina Trade House Polesje, which was set up a year ago, are preparing the farm machinery for the exhibition.

Gomselmash intends to expand its presence in Latin America. At present, more than 30 combine harvesters produced in Gomel are operating on the Argentinean fields.

In January 2008 Belarusian company Gomselmash exported $15.5 million worth of agricultural machines and spare parts to Russia and Ukraine, roughly six times the amount the company exported in January 2007. This year Gomselmash intends to double its export to reach $200 million as against 2007. The company mainly exported grain harvesters of various modifications.

Production corporation Gomselmash is a multi-business producer of machines used to cultivate and harvest basic crops utilising contemporary agrarian technologies. The company’s line-up includes machines for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, potato, as well as mowers and machines for complex soil cultivation.
