OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2008. Bank Electronika opened a retail personal services office in Bryansk. The Bank provides convenient and economic banking services to the general population: deposits, loans, and cash and payment services.

Residents of Bryansk have long been acquainted with Bank Electronika; a branch of the bank has worked in the city since 1993. The Bank opened this new office, specializing in work with individuals,  to better serve the population’s growing needs for quality banking services. The branch will turn more of its attention to assisting small and medium-sized businesses, what are called B2B clients.

The new office in Bryansk opened as part of the retail strategy of Bank Electronika, a plan that anticipates establishing a national network of 150 retail office covering a large part of the territory of Russia by the end of 2010.

The product line offered by the retail office is democratic and assessable even to families with lower levels of income. A term deposit account at the Bank, for example, may be opened with as little as ten rubles, and loans vary from 5,000 rubles to 120,000 rubles (loan applications require minimum documentation and are reviewed in the shortest possible time). The Bank also executes ruble-denominated money transfers. Clients who open accounts receive a free international banking payment card Visa Electron Non-Personalised.

The Bank has taken care to ensure that clients find it pleasant to visit. Each personal services office has been outfitted with a children’s corner where kids can comfortably spend time while parents are engaged in discussions with Bank employees. In addition, visitors to the retail offices need not prepare banking slips and payment requisitions – employees of the Bank handle all the routine work.

Marina Upatova, Director of the Directorate for Retail Business at Bank Electronika, commented: “Our marketing research has shown that accessible banking services are in high demand in the regions. We offer high-quality, convenient banking services that are, most importantly, reasonable for the average person. An individual may to come to the Bank and acquire a loan for a child’s education or wedding or for a sizeable purchase. Our client must have the opportunity to obtain banking products as easily as buying groceries in a store.”
