OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 August 2008 was announced, that the AZEL company signed the contract with Japanese company Sharp on distributing of audio and video techniques in Azerbaijan. In AZEL’s shops the full spectrum of liquid crystal TVs Sharp AQUOS is already presented, from small size for personal use up to models with a diagonal 65 inches and the sanction 1920x1080 pixels, which are twice greater, than the sanction of usual telecasting.

Basis of any TV AQUOS is the LCD-panel produced at Japanese factory Sharp in the Kamejama. TVs AQUOS are constructed on the general platform consisting of a subsystem of processing the digital image and a subsystem of digital audio which provide the high-quality image and a sound. Being based on the concept of AQUOS platform, Sharp develops and makes LCD TVs from development of microcircuits to manufacturing  of LCD panels, and the result is TVs which have not only the high-quality image and a sound, but also the compact sizes, small consumption of energy and long service time.

For the more than 80-years corporation history SHARP repeatedly named "first", and it is not so much in sphere of business, how many in sphere of new technologies and inventions. According to the President of company AZEL Igor Yakovenko, cooperation with company Sharp will allow to strengthen even more positions of AZEL as the supplier of first class electronics in Azerbaijan. Sharp is the pioneer and the technological leader in the LC technologies, having long history of the innovations, the last of which is the biggest LCD  TV in the world with a diagonal of 108 inches, which was presented one year ago at CES exhibition in Las Vegas.
