OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2008. The largest payment system CyberPlat and the world leader in the money transfer segment Western Union opened up for Russians an opportunity to pay for the services of the three leading Russian mobile network operators while being in any county of the world.

It is extremely inconvenient to find oneself in a foreign country with your mobile phone out-of-operation. It still presents a problem to top up accounts of the Russian mobile network operators while being abroad. One has to deposit a knowingly large amount or ask someone in Russia to pay for the mobile communication.

The largest in Russia payment system CyberPlat and the world-wide known money transfer system Western Union, having united their efforts, provide an opportunity to top up the personal accounts of subscribers at any of the above-mentioned operators. This operation can be effected in those branches of Western Union where the Quick Pay service is available. There are more than 170,000 such branches in 150 countries of the world (the total number of Western Union braches exceeds 335,000).
In order to deposit the money to one’s personal account it is necessary to:
Find a Western Union branch which provides the Quick Pay service;
. Fill in a special form where it is necessary to specify the name of the mobile network operator as: CYBERPLAT MTS, CYBERPLAT BEELINE или CYBERPLAT MEGAFON (in Latin capital letters). It will be impossible to pay for the telecommunication services having written only the name of the operator.
Specify the telephone number with its prefix (10 characters altogether);
Specify the payment amount.

For the funds transfer Western Union charges a commission fee in accordance with the applicable tariffs.

Thanks to the alliance with Western Union, the number of the payment acceptance outlets which are connected to the CyberPlat payment system has almost doubled. It reaches 200,000 points in the territory of Russia and CIS countries. After connecting of the 170,000 Western Union outlets the total number of the CyberPlat payment acceptance outlets has exceeded 370,000 points. It considerably surpasses the total number of outlets of all CyberPlat competitors in Russia.

The CyberPlat payment system became international long ago. It operates in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and ranks highly in the payment acceptance market. Nowadays, the CyberPlat system has indeed become a global system.
