OREANDA-NEWS  On 06 October was announced, that a conference “Social Partnership of authorities, employers and workers of mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine” was held in Kiev. The conference was attended by the Minister of Economy Bohdan Danylyshyn, the Industry Minister, Volodymyr Novitsky and his deputy Sergiy Gryshchenko, trade unions, the Federation of metallurgists and the representatives of mining and metallurgical enterprises. Metinvest, Interpipe, Zaporizhstal, Rusal, Istil and Dneprospetsstal presented their reports.

From the Holding CENTRAVIS the event was attended by Natalia Mikolaenko, a PR specialist of the Holding. Natalia made a presentation of CSR practices, and described the approach of CENTRAVIS to CSR, CSR specifics of the industrial enterprises and the integration of CSR in the international strategy of the holding CENTRAVIS.

The programme of development of social infrastructure in the region has received a positive assessment of the conference participants. It was known, because the results of the programme are already reflected in definite results — a qualitative change in the infrastructure of Nikopol. Expertise of CENTRAVIS in the sphere of CSR is so diverse that other members of mining and metallurgical market asked to share experience and create cooperation programmes with this goal. In particular, some companies are planning to transfer the experience of implementation of regional development programmes in locations of their manufacturing plants.
