Energoatom Won’t Reduce Level of Social Guarantees
OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2009. Energoatom Concern will not allow reduction in the level of social guarantees and the real rate of remuneration of its employees despite the global crisis, Deputy Director General of Energoatom Concern OJSC-Director of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant Vladimir Povarov told his employees while summing up the results of the fulfillment of the collective agreement 2008.
He said that in 2008 the average monthly salary of the industrial personnel of Novovoronezh NPP grew by 23.5%, the salary of non-industrial workers – by 76.2%.
Chairman of the Trade Union of the plant Yuri Babenko pointed out that 2008 was one of the most successful of social terms due to close and constructive cooperation between the trade union and the administration of the plant.
Over 151mln RUR was allocated for general social payments stipulated by the collective agreement. 1,670 employees and members of their facilities were sent to sanatorium and resorts during the year.
Besides, in 2008 the plant enacted a procedure for registering employees needing improvement of their housing conditions with the minimum per capita housing quota increased from 7 sq m to 12 sq m.
Last year the plant concluded contracts for leasing land for the construction of two apartment houses. The construction of one of them was started in July 2008.
13mln RUR was spent on the youth program with 1.688mln RUR allocated for partial compensation for distance education expenses.
In 2009 the plant will allocate over 32mln RUR for mortgage crediting, 13mln RUR will be lent to young employees.
