OREANDA-NEWS. June 01, 2009.  Since the beginning of this year Atomenergoprom OJSC has drafted contracts for the supply of exclusive equipment of prolonged manufacturing cycle worth 6.74bln RUR for Belene Nuclear Power Plant in Bulgaria, says the spokesman of Atomenergoprom OJSC Ivan Dybov.

Particularly, ZiO-Podolsk OJSC (controlled by Atomenergomash) and OMZ will supply steam generators and accumulators, respectively.

The equipment will be bought for Atomstroyexport CJSC, the general contractor of Belene NPP project.

Atomenergoprom is also drafting contracts with Power Machines for the supply of main power house equipment and the Central Design Bureau of Machine Building – for the delivery of main circulation pumps.

The company is also preparing contracts for the supply of equipment worth 2.6bln RUR for two nuclear power plants that are presently being constructed in Russia.

Particularly, subsidiary of Atomenergoprom, AEM-Technologies JCSC, Venta CJSC, Elektrozavod Holding Company and Izhora-Metal OJSC will supply units and aggregates worth 646mln RUR to the 1st unit of Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant-2; AEM-Technologies, the Central Design Bureau of Machine Building, Baltkra OJC, Elektrozavod, Venta and the Scientific-Industrial Association for Machine Building Technologies – equipment worth 1.96bln RUR to Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant-2; TTM CJSC — reloaders worth 143mln RUR, AEM-Technologies — reactor components worth 21mln RUR to Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant.

The contract with Izhora Group (subsidiary of OMZ) for the delivery of a reactor shell cover to Kalinin NPP is being coordinated.

Atomenergprom OJSC acts as an agent for the purchase of exclusive equipment of prolonged manufacturing cycle for nuclear power plants built in Russia and abroad.
