On 29 June 2009 was announced, that Thomson Reuters, in partnership with Interfax International Information Group, has published the results of its renowned Extel Survey – Focus Russia 2009. The Survey, which is conducted annually over a three year period, identified the best IR (Investor Relations) services in all sectors of the Russian economy. Based on the Survey results, Uralkali ranks as the best public company in the chemical sector. Overall, 14 of Russia’s leading companies are recognized in the survey for their IR services. These include Gazprom, LUKOIL, Sberbank (Savings Bank of the Russian Federation), VTB, Evraz, and MTS.

 The Russian Survey was conducted during March 30 – May 30, 2009, jointly with the Thomson Reuters Extel European Survey 2009. It attracted votes from more than 5,000 investment specialists representing upwards of 1,400 asset management companies. The methodology applied was independently checked and verified by Deloitte & Touche.
