OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 July 2009 was announced, that in Japan the industrial output is on the rise. This June, Japan demonstrated increase in its industrial output by 2.4% as compared with this May. Its 2009 second quarter production output increased 8.3% vs.Kost the previous quarter. If to compare it with the second quarter of 2008, the industrial output went down by 23.4%. As the Japanese government officials say, the current growth in industrial output is stipulated primarily by replenishing of the companies’ reserves, rather than by increase of the final demand.

A new record has been hit by Ukrainska SE. June 29, on PFTS SE 113 deals were made with the shares of Ukrainian companies for the total of UAH 12.4 mn. The greatest number of deals – 37 – were made with Alchevsk Iron and Steel (ALMK) shares. Same day, on Ukrainska SE there were registered 551 deals for the total of UAH 16.0 mn, The shares of Ukrnafta were among the most traded ones– 154 deals. We must say that on both stock exchanges the activity was high. While, at the same time, the increasing deals amounts were accompanied by incremented number of deals. This fact may evidence that increasingly more number of private investors are attracted to Ukrainian stock market.
