Rosneft launches Vankor. Today Rosneft launches the largest at the post-Soviet Russia oil-and-gas project – Vankorskoe deposit. It will be opened by the Russian prime-minister Vladimir Putin, who will also hold a meeting at the village Igarka on the matter of “Complex development of oil-and-gas province of Krasnoyarsk territory and Yamal-Nenetskiy autonomous area”.

Gazprom will sell twice less gas to Ukraine than planned. In 2010 Ukraine plans to reduce the volumes of purchasing Russian natural gas to 25 bn cubic meters, imparted the Ukrainian prime-minister Yulia Timishenko.

NOVATEK might consider the possibility of purchasing new assets and plans to pay-off provisional dividends. NOVATEK considers the possibility of investing to distribution abroad, and also plans to consider the matter on paying off dividends for the first half year, announced the chairman of the company’s board Leonid Mikhelson.

VSMPO-Avisma forecasts reduction of output by 20%, sales – by 30% in 2009. In 2009 VSMPO-Avisma corporation forecasts lowering of the output volumes by approximately 20% to 19-20 thousand tons of titanium products, announced Vladislav Tetyuhin. He has also outlined that the sales drop during 2009 would form 30%, not giving details on the forecasted estimate and outlined that at the same time the company would complete the year with profit.
