OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. Ingosstrakh paid the first tranche of insurance compensation to OAO LOMO to the amount of RUB 30mln.

The insured event was a fire that took place on April 17, 2009, in a commercial space at the following address: St. Petersburg, Optikov st. 4, lit.A owned by OAO LOMO and rented by a confectionary plant. Fire, high temperature and combustion products damaged the structural components, interior and exterior finishing, engineering equipment and the roof of the building.

The investigation found out that the fire was caused by emergency operation of electrical equipment. To define the damage, Ingosstrakh hired surveyor Cunningham Lindsey Russia. Currently, they are gathering documents to define total damage.
