OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2009. The Belarusian Economy Ministry has worked out measures to increase exports by small businesses, the director of the entrepreneurship department with the Economy Ministry, Alexander Likhachevsky, told reporters.

“We propose issuing ST1 origin certificates for small businesses that acquire commodities for further exportation free of charge. We also consider offering wholesale discounts and cutting prices of commodities that have not been sold for two years. Also, it is planned to set a 3% tax rate on revenues from sales of Belarusian products abroad,” Likhachevsky said.

“The share of inventories sold by small businesses amounted to 8.3% in October, up from 8% in September. The leaders are the Grodno and Minsk Regions,” he added.
