“Our users – both private and corporate – will be happy now that they have an option to type their telecom operator name in the search engine entry not just using Latin but Cyrillic alphabet as well. These addresses will be available already early 2010, when domain names registered over this period will be assigned and available for hosting”, Aleksandr Kirillov, Technology Vice President of OAO COMSTAR-UTS said.

The Cyrillic zone is evidently a new step of Russian Internet development, and MGTS, being a company aimed at continuous and sustainable development could not have this area left ignored. At present, nearly all MGTS services are available to order on a remote basis via our website. With the future presence of our Company in the Cyrillic domain is one more step to make our services much more convenient and affordable”, Vladimir Lebedev, MGTS CTO noticed.
