OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov visited Space System R&D (NII KP) today to supervise new manufacturing equipment, including modern automatic board surface mounting line, as well as its final products.

Integration of the automatic line delivered by one of Russian innovative structures, was completed работы, идет обученright before the New Year holidays. Starting-up and adjustment are in progress, to be finalized soon.

According to Yury Korolev, NII KP leader, up to 300 thousand boards per year are to be assembled here once the line reaches its full capacity. For the previous line, it was only 100 thousand.

Anatoly Perminov also held a meeting with Roscosmos, NII KP and Russian Rocket and Space Instrumentation and Data System company’s officials.

Many of the products developed and produced by NII KP were designed and introduced on their own initiative, and funded by the R&D. Roscosmos Head mentioned in his speech during the meeting that “…it is necessary to help NII KP to get proper funding in order for them to capture a leading place in our country, at least".
