OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2010. All Sakhalin customs posts are authorized to prepared documents for exported seaborne oil and petroleum products, including marine fuel, "Data” agency reports citing Yuri Gurshal, the spokesman for the Sakhalin Customs.

Before January 18 this year, when the order of the Federal Customs Service (N1566) entrusted all seven customs posts of Sakhalin to carry out customs clearance of outbound oil cargoes only two customs posts - in De Castries and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk were authorized.

Since now shipowners, exporters can prepare and submit either paper documents (from the port of departure) or via electronic submission in any of the customs posts, in Kholmsk, Korsakov, De Castries and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, which are all connected to a network of system of electronic customs declaration.
