OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2010. Nizhegorodsky Motorship Plant OJSC has started April 9th, the keel of the third and fourth offshore scuba diving boats of A160 project ordered by the Russian Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport (RosMorRechFlot) for Marine Emergency Rescue Service, the shipbuilder’s press service said. The ships are scheduled to be delivered in November 2010. 

The offshore diving boats are being constructed in the framework of the Marine Transport, part of the Federal target program Development of Transport System of Russia (2010-2015).

Currently, the Nizhny Novgorod shipyard has been building two lead-diving boats of A-160 project.

Nizhegorodsky Motorship Plant is located in the town of Bor (Nizhny Novgorod region). The company builds support and auxiliary vessels, manufactures port and ship engine equipment. The Plant facilities allow building 135-m-long, 1.500-dwt ships.
