OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2010. А working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom and Dr. Jurgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE took place today in Ludwigshafen.

The parties addressed the current issues related to joint projects implementation. They highly praised the progress with cooperation between Gazprom and BASF/Wintershall Holding within the development of the Yuzhno-Russkoye field and block A1 of the Achimov deposits in the Urengoy field, as well as the offshore Nord Stream gas pipeline construction.

The meeting participants highlighted the successful interaction between the companies in experience sharing and staff training, sci-tech cooperation, gas chemistry, and discussed the prospects for joint projects execution in Eastern Russia.
