In January-May 2010 UTair Aviation took the lead in the number of passengers carried on the domestic air trasnport market, according to the data from the Transport Clearing House. In the first five months of 2010 the company served 1,552,827 passengers in Russia, a 50.7% increase over 2009.

UTair passenger traffic growth has been based on its developed flight network, the capacity of the airline’s largest hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, modern fleet of long haul and regional aircraft, flexible fare policy, high quality services and passenger loyalty program, one of the most comprehensive in the industry. UTair’s high industrial indicies have been achieved thanks to the professional and well coordinated work of its departments involved in customer services.

According to the UTair operational forecast for 2010, the airline's planes and helicopters will have logged nearly 300,000 flight hours. More than 100 aircraft and 200 helicopters of various types and classes are involved in realization of the company’s operations program. In 2010, UTair expects to serve more than 4.8 million passengers, 34% more than in 2009. UTair maintains helicopter operations in Russia and eleven foreign countries and plans a 3.8% increase in the export of helicopter services.
