OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010. In the transport industry for the last 6 months dynamic growth in traffic have been registered. The Senior Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Volodymyr Kornienko said at a press briefing at the Government House.

"Over the past 6 months the industry is stable, with good growth in volumes of traffic", - Volodymyr Kornienko said and added that the high growth rates (14%) are recorded in rail transport. According to him, they are high in aviation, especially in international transport and road transport.

The Senior Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications also said that during the summer period transportation of passengers was provided for 100 per cent. He noted that there were no "failure" to provide passengers with tickets this year.

Volodymyr Kornienko also said that until the end of the year the transport ministry plans to provide "full service to sell online tickets for railway transportation".
