OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2010. Management Board Member – Vnesheconombank First Deputy Chairman Nikolai Kosov held a meeting with Lord Mayor of London Nick Anstee in London.

In the course of talks the two men discussed issues of Russian-British economic and investment cooperation including the two countries’ interaction in establishing an international financial center in Moscow, raising British investment for the Russian economy, prospects for the project to create the Skolkovo Innovation Center and promotion of public private partnership in Russia.

Nikolai Kosov told the Lord Mayor about a recent meeting of the Russian-British Commerce Chamber’s Board of Directors and decisions made at the meeting on stepping up the Chamber’s activity in establishing a financial center in Moscow, raising British investments for high-technology sectors of the Russian economy, promoting cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises of both countries.

In its capacity of adviser Vnesheconombank participates in the meetings of the working group on establishing an international financial center in Russia under the Council on Financial Market Development under the Russian President.
