OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2010. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Heineken Breweries, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 72.7% increase in output in January-September 2010 from previous January-September to 6.771 million decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

Heineken Breweries’ output rose 90.6% on the year to 5.954 million decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output increased 150% to 817,000 decaliters because of a large-scale reconstruction.

In September lone, the two breweries’ beer production increased 130% on the year to 921,100 decaliters. Heineken Breweries’ output rose 110% on September 2009 to 706,400 decaliters, and Rechitsavipo produced 214,700 decaliters of beer, up 220%.

Heineken Breweries made 4.531 million decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-September, up 90.5%, and 1.376 million decaliters in glass bottles, up 92.1%. Beer output in kegs reached 47,600 decaliters.

Rechitsapivo produced 588,900 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-September 2010, up 19.9%, and 108,800 decaliters in glass bottles, down 13%. Beer offering in kegs fell 33.9% to 119,600 decaliters.

The two breweries delivered 6.293 million decaliters of beer to the retail network in January-September 2010, up 64.6% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 310% on the year in January-September to 370,400 decaliters, 328,900 decaliters by Heineken Breweries, up 11.9 times, and 41,500 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 33.8%.
