ArcelorMittal Announced Its January 2011 Production Results

OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2011. OJSC “ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih” announced its January 2011 production results.

MAJOR PRODUCTION FIGURES, Thousand tons

The average wages at the plant amounted 3906,6 UAH in January 2011 (January 2010 - 3566,2 UAH).

Aleksandr Ioskov, acting Chief Operations Officer, OJSC “ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih”: “In January production cutback of pig iron caused by agglomerate production cutback due to the overhaul repairs of two sinter machines. In return insufficient quantity of pig iron was followed by low production of steel and rolled products. One of the repairs was finished in January and already in February it will allow us to increase production of agglomerate and other types of product”.
