OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2012. By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bolat Akchulakov was appointed as Deputy Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of KASE.

Bolat Akchulakov was born April 9, 1971 in the town of Guriev (now - Atyrau). In 1993 he graduated from Kazakh State Academy of Management, economist.

He worked as chief economist of "Alem Bank Kazakhstan", the head of the Securities Department, deputy director of asset  management department of the Central Asian Bank of Cooperation and Development, Director of the Department of the Tengiz project company "NOC "Kazakhoil", executive director of JSC NC "KazMunayGas".

He also served as vice-Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Managing Director of "SWF "SK". He was a member of the Board of Directors of JSC NC "KazMunayGas". Since July 2010 he had been General Director of LLP "PSA". From October 5 to December 21, 2011 - Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "KazMunayGas".
