OREANDA-NEWS.  January 26, 2012. Today the Baku State University (BGU) has signed the Memorandum with the Kars-Caucasus and Ardahan universities of Turkey.

The Memo says of joint research, exchange of students, experience and information, holding of conferences and seminars on various topics, etc.

Kars-Caucasus and Ardahan universities of Turkey are young, but rapidly developing universities. The Kars-Caucasus university, consisting of 6 faculties (economics, management, pedagogy, medicine, engineering and architecture, literature, veterinary medicine), 3 colleges, 5 professional schools, a state conservatory, and 10 research centers, was established in 1992.

Currently 12,500 students are studying at the University.

The Ardahan University, founded in 2008, includes faculties of economics and management, human rights and literature, engineering. Currently, the university is numbering 10,000 students.
