OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2012. 28 contracts were concluded at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Buyers from UK concluded the foreign currency transactions for L-0,2-62 diesel fuel and furnace fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Businessmen from Afghanistan bought L-0,2-62 diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery and liquefied gas from Nayip terminal. The foreign currency transactions were concluded for one-colored and jacquard terry towels, cotton yarn, cotton fibre, and household chemicals. The buyer-countries: UK, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, Afghanistan, Singapore, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Singapore, and Ukraine. The foreign currency transactions totalled over USD 91,313 million.

For manat deposit funds, representatives of business circles of UK, Russia, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn, brown knitted fabric, flannel, color knitted wastes. The total value of transactions amounted to more than 11 million 680 thousand manats.

For the country’s market the Turkmen businessmen bought bread wheat from the harvest of 2010 in excess of 548,625 manat.
