March 29, 2012.  The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today that it will begin supplying control tires for the ADAC GT Masters, which will open its season on March 31 in Oschersleben, Germany. For dry conditions, Yokohama will supply ADVAN A005 tires with improved environmental performance while maintaining excellent gripping power thanks to the companyЃfs orange oil compounding technology, and for wet conditions, the ADVAN A006.

 The ADAC GT Masters is one of the most popular GT series in Europe. In the 2012 season, up to 44 cars will compete in 16 rounds staged in eight events in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria, and all races will be televised. High speeds and exciting races are guaranteed, since all vehicles are super sports cars under FIA GT3 regulations.

 The company provides control tires for many top races all over the world such as FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), Macau Grand Prix, IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge in U.S.A.Ѓ@and GT Asia Series. At the Macau Grand Prix, in particular, Yokohama is proud to have been the supplier of control tires for 30 consecutive years. In January, in recognition of the outstanding performance of its tires as well as its ability to support high-level races with its technology and accumulated know-how, Yokohama was also selected as the control-tire supplier for the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
